My oh my!
Today, I spent the afternoon with my cousin Armando and his family.
I was doing his girlfriend's, Linda, makeup for her birthday and anniversary night.
Linda and I were pregnant at the same time and had our babies within a week of one another.
Beautiful baby, Melody, was born on Christmas Day and
my silly monkey, Maxwell, was born on New Years Eve.
Our little holiday babies are growing up so fast and its a little scary.
Heres an early picture of them, Melody was 4 wks and Maxwell was 3 wks.
And now! Both are 8 months and look how big they've gotten!!
Sitting up and enjoying Yo Gabba Gabba!
But, these two seem to remind me so much of these sets of nuggets!
On the left we have Devon (my nephew) and Ethan (my cousin)
and on the right we have my brother Eddie and my cousin Armando (Melody's dad).
And with so many of my family members having kids I cant help but start looking through my pictures and match everyone up with the new generation.
Kids grow up so darn fast and Im not sure Im ready to give up having Max so little.
He's not far from walking and his bah, bah's and daa daa's are being joined by la las and mmah, mmmahs.
And to top it off I was watching my niece do her homework today and realized she's a full fledged 4th grader and her writing was incredibly neat and her work was so organized.
(nothing like me in elementary! ha ha)
This generation is growing so quickly and Im getting old way to darn fast.
UGH!!
I DON'T WANNA GROW UP!!
Ha Ha.
I guess theres not much I can do now...
Maybe if I think happy thought I'll slowly drift away to Never, Never Land.
(keeping my fingers crossed!)
Wishfully thinking while drifting through memories and good times
Eternally Young at Heart,
Raquel =0)
